process For Recording

• Recording sessions can be attended virtually via FaceTime, Zoom, etc or I can work on my own time and send the recordings to you for feedback.

  • Virtually attended sessions must be scheduled in advance.

• For guitar session work, describe what kind of parts or overall sound you envision for the song. This can even be in the form of similar sounding songs you like or any other references you have. Otherwise I’m comfortable doing my own interpretation and recording any parts as I see fit. You are not obligated to accept any parts that I record and revisions are an expected part of the process.

• If any additional recording is needed for other instruments that I don’t play (ex: drums, percussion, etc.), you can hire session players from my network of musicians. This is an additional cost depending on the individual musician’s pay rate.

• Audio editing is also included in the hourly rate.

• I will work at the hourly rate that was agreed to between us ($20/hr) and detailed invoices will be sent to you after each work session before I send out any audio files.

• No audio files will be sent out until payment has been received for work up to that point in time.

• Payment methods I accept: Cash, Venmo, PayPal.

• If I am mixing the song, I will keep the recorded audio files in my session for the project.

• If I am not mixing the song, I will send you the finished and edited .wav files of all individual parts at the sample rate and bit depth of your project.

• For each work session, I will send you an .mp3 file of the full song with my new parts added to it.

Process for Mixing

• Before I start the mix, we will have a discussion about how you’d like it to sound.

  • This includes sending several reference songs that you feel are similar to your song and you’d like your song to sound like.

  • Give me the clearest picture possible of the sound through references of songs and artists.

• Audio editing is also included in the hourly rate.

• If revisions are needed past the first mix, the first two revisions are free. Beyond two revisions, the hourly rate is applied to the additional revisions.

  • Give me as detailed feedback as you can for each revision.

• I will work at the hourly rate that was agreed to between us ($20/hr) and detailed invoices will be sent before sending out audio files.

• No audio files will be sent out until payment has been received for work up to that point in time.

• Payment methods I accept: Cash, Venmo, PayPal.

• Before completion, you will receive a .mp3 file of the mix.

• Once we agree to a final mix, you will receive a .wav file of the mix.
